Update

It been a while since I last wrote in my blog.  The biggest update I have is that I finally got my TDSB employee ID.  I can officially supply teach in Toronto!  I am excited but at the same time not sure what to expect.  Ie heard some horror stories being a supply teacher where students don respect or listen to the supply teachers.  I think I can handle it and straighten the kids out too.  My plan of action is to drop off my resume to local schools to let them know that I am in the area and hopefully theyl book me in advance.  It be awesome to supply at Rose Ave where I went to school as a child and volunteers a few years back.  Excited!!!

I also had an interview for TDSB for September as well but not sure how it went.  I left the interview thinking I coulde done better.  Also, I have a second interview for the HK Net program for September as well.  I want to keep all my options open and would love to head back to Asia for another tour.

Other than that my life has been pretty normal.  I am excited for the Raptors and looking forward to their playoff run.  It been a long time but this team looks good for years to come.  I was fortunate to attend the Memphis vs Raptor game this past Wednesday and think I raked up a tab for the In-Seat service for over $150 with Tony.  We had a few drinks each and food that wasn filling but it was pricy.

Best holidays ever!

Upon reflection of my holidays, I think I had one of the best holiday season ever!  It just seemed that everything went well and I was very happy during my holidays.  Some highlights include:

1.      I got hired as a supply teacher for TDSB.

2.      Tony got engaged with Jenny.

3.      Didn waste money on shopping

4.      Got a pair of shoes that fit so well and are more comfortable than NIKEs

5.      Hung out with my HK crew, Jason, Alvin and Tina

6.      NYE with my boys was quiet but nice.

7.      Christmas Dinner at Jen

8.      My family was all together for most of the holidays.

ACC staff party @ Steamwhistle Brewery.

Don drink Steamwhistle beer, it taste like cr*p.  I am not a big beer connoisseur but I know bad beer from the rest.  Ie had my share of beers and I can honestly say they taste all about the same with a few exceptions but when I had the Steamwhistle beer, it was by far the worst drink Ie ever had!!!  What makes it worse is that it was free beer at our ACC staff party and it was still bad!

Here are some drunken pictures of my co-workers.
